Happy Birthday Sam!!!

The Funniest Face in the Whole World

Our Handsome Guy

The Big Brother

Mini-Me

Wow! Sam is going to be 5 years old next week. Looking back on the past five years, it definitely helps to have some perspective. Now, I can see what they mean when people say, "It goes by in the blink of an eye," or "Before you know it they'll be all grown up." While in the moment of day to day life, that doesn't seem possible. Sometimes it seems like it is going to take forever to get to nap time, or for Daddy to get home, or for bed time to roll around. As we are getting ready for Sam's party though, it makes me think of how quickly the time has gone. Sam has gone from being a tiny helpless baby, to a pretty neat kid who comes up with interesting things to say, some pretty thought provoking questions, and has an incredible imagination. He loves playing Legos, wrestling with his sister and listening to stories. He adores his baby brother and no one can make Matt laugh quite like Sam. It is pretty cute watching them together. Sam is a smart, funny, handsome little man. I thank God for the privilege and challenge of raising this amazing boy. So, here's a big Happy Birthday to you Sam. Mommy and Daddy love you so much.

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with Sam's class last Friday. It was the best pumpkin patch we have ever been to.

Waiting in line to ride the pumpkin train.

Watching the pig races. We were rooting for Not a Hot Dog. Unfortunately, he came in last.

Mommy kept the camera on accident while Daddy, Sam and Abbie went to pick the pumpkins. That's why we don't have any of those pictures.

Our First Blog

Hi Family and Friends! Welcome to our blog.

At home in September.

Sam's first day of preschool in August. He is really enjoing his class. He has some good friends and a wonderful teacher.

A rare moment of stillness. Our little ballerina catches some "z's".

Here's the proof that Mommy and Daddy are taking my picture. I am a happy boy who loves playing and watching my brother and sister.
